When I contacted my talented friend Marc Codsi in Beirut, I threw him a carte blanche and asked him to compose a demented soundtrack for my type video. We had collaborated in the past on a bunch of projects but we never had such a blast working together.
Skype was the main hub in which we improvised and merged bits and pieces of children’s educational toy sounds, “google translate” recordings, cheap simili-egyptian moanings and a compelling electro beat.
The visuals were created with a dyslexic interpretation of the music, giving a not-so-absurd dimension to an utterly absurd sound.
